Philip Nekai

Philip Nekai is a licensed mental health professional with expertise in multicultural counseling. After teaching high school history on his native island of Saipan, Philip realized he had a knack for creating safe spaces for those around him to express themselves. He then went on to obtain his Master’s degree in Counseling through the highly regarded Community Based Block (CBB) program at San Diego State University. Through his previous experience in crisis work and, most recently, high school mental health counseling, Philip knows that every voice is deserving of being heard. In his spare time, Philip enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and hanging out with his dogs, Kiefer & Hashbrown.
